My experience as a teen blogger finalist

By Kiana Benoit

Being a teen blogger finalist was one of the most amazing experiences of my life, honestly. I've never won anything, so being picked as a finalist was a new and exciting thing. I was nervous at first, wondering what people would think of my blogs, hoping they would be good enough. After I met the other finalists, I wasn't scared anymore. They were all really nice, and all the Coquitlam centre staff I met were very kind.

All Good Things Must Come to an End

Four weeks ago, this competition began with five girls who shared a passion for blogging: Kiana, Katrina, Brynn, Amanda, and I. On April 4th, we were all given our topics for each of the weeks, we mingled, and we were sent on our way.   For those four weeks, I spent almost every waking minute (when I wasn’t swamped with school, work, and eating) writing, editing, and advertising my blogs.

It’s finally spring, and it’s time to slip on a shirt, slop on the sunscreen, and slap on a hat.  Protecting yourself from the sun doesn’t have to be a pain.  Sun protection has never looked so fashionable, with the help of these five items.

Hey everybody, as my fourth and final blog I thought I would give you the scoop on this springs fashion finds, my focus being H&M(because I love it!). Mainly I wanted to suggest some fun and flirty, floral dresses for all ages.

Who doesn’t love playing with a classic floral dress? No matter the size of print, bright and bold, or subdued and classic, a floral dress is always a must have for a female closet. Particularly when spring has finally sprung in drizzly Vancouver.

Purse Essentials!
Kiana Benoit

I have a bit of a love/hate relationship with my purse. On one hand, it completes my outfits and holds all my essentials. On the other hand though, it's often so full of junk that it takes me forever to find whatever I'm looking for. By keeping just a few handy things in your purse, you can keep clutter down.
