Stealing Stones Style
Emma Stone is known for her bright basics, nautical with naturals, and elegant accessories. Unfortunately not all of us can afford shopping like a movie-star, however, our own mall Coquitlam Center provides low-priced alternatives you can use to put a spin on this celebrities style. A simple striped shirt, black blazer, blue skinny jean, and nude heel, can easily be altered depending on your age, body-type, and style.

I can’t get enough of a classic black blazer, which I found at H&M for $40. I love blazers because though this look features a boyfriend blazer, shorter cropped-blazers can elongate the leg, and create an hourglass figure.  Emma isn’t afraid to play with pastels contrary to her vibrant red-carpet styles, and as featured in this season playing with colored blazers and jackets (pastel-pink maybe?) may add lightness to this chic-look. ($40).
For this look any thin-striped tee would work, depending on if you wanted to do a baggy tank at H&M for $15, or a fitted three-quarter sleeve, sold by Aritzia for$ 45.
Next the blue Jean, also can be found at H&M; Super Sqin Jeans $ 24.95(Light wash blue), however a curvier person might try a straight or slim jean opposed to a skinny one, with a darker wash then a regular jean, to make the leg look longer.
With Emma Stone’s look you don’t need fancy or decorative footwear. So I headed to Payless and found the perfect shoe, a plain, nude, pump (Brash $35). I recognize most of us can’t get away with wearing 4inch pumps daily, so I might suggest any closed-toed, nude shoe, heel, wedge or flat, would completely work.  Have fun with this basic look in your everyday life, and enjoy the beginning of the spring season!
