Having our periods can sometimes be confusing and scary. We can be unsure of how to navigate our changing emotions and the physical changes in our bodies. We sometimes feel that we should not talk about our periods or that it is something dirty or be ashamed of.

There is a new revolution happening - it’s called period positivity! Periods are to be celebrated. Our bodies are AMAZING!

In this safe, shame free workshop, offered in circle format, we will:

  • Discover how to embrace your unique flow and connect with the wisdom of your body through your menstrual cycle
  • Learn about the foundation of the red tent and the age-old tradition of honouring menstrual flow, the sharing among women and the connection to our higher selves
  • Explore the “seasons” of our cycle, the relationship to our energy and emotions and the value of charting and journaling
  • Discuss the benefits of honouring your changing needs throughout your menstrual seasons
  • Explore menstruation products including eco-friendly and natural options

Get ready to get real with your period and have fun doing so! Hand-outs will be provided as well as a list of resources and there will be lots of time for questions and sharing (for those that wish to do so – no obligation).
