Ricky’s Café is a fast, casual version of the popular Ricky’s All Day Grill Family-Style Restaurants
Busy residents and employees in the Coquitlam Centre area have a new dining option with Ricky’s Café Fast·Fresh, a contemporary fast casual café concept. This is the 3rd Ricky’s Café opening with the first 2 opening in Burnaby, BC and then in Red Deer, AB in 2017. Guests will experience the same high quality breakfast, lunch and dinner food Ricky’s is known for – like our famous Eggs Benny and ½lb mouth-watering Alberta Angus certified beef burgers, plus more modern fare like our street style and global bowls – all on their schedule. And at Ricky’s Café Fast·Fresh you have the choice of our casual dining area to dine in or grab and go with our fast, efficient counter service.
That’s because franchise restaurant developer Frank Di Benedetto, CEO/Owner of FDF Brandz, which includes Ricky’s Group of Family-style Restaurants, Fatburger Canada and Famoso Pizzeria, has just cut the ribbon on the very first Ricky’s Café Fast·Fresh, a vibrant, streamlined concept offering delicious food and professional and courteous service – all in a friendly, urban, fast casual environment.
Situated near the Johnson Street entrance of Coquitlam Centre, near the food court, the new 2,100-square-foot eatery seats up to 70 guests and is open daily ranging from 7 AM until 9 PM, consistent with the mall hours.
“We are excited to launch Ricky’s Café Fast·Fresh, an evolution from our current Ricky’s Café that caters to shoppers from Coquitlam Centre and locals who are wanting a delicious and comfortable, casual dining experience. Whether the guest wishes to dine in or take-out, our friendly, effective counter service gives them the option to get their order fast; while still getting the same great quality fresh food they’ve come to expect from Ricky’s,” said Di Benedetto. “This model of Fast·Fresh is a great fit for the Coquitlam Centre location, attracting busy shoppers who are looking for a quick dining solution that does not sacrifice food quality”.
Ricky’s is committed to uncompromising food quality and freshly prepared recipes using high quality, sustainable ingredients. We proudly serve Rainforest Alliance Certified coffee. Our breakfast meats come from pork raised in Western Canada without antibiotics and hormones, and Ricky’s ½lb fresh never frozen burgers are made with certified Alberta Angus beef. Our chicken tenders are hand-battered Southern style, while our Ocean Wise cod fillets are hand-and-beer battered, made to order. All served with hot and crispy fresh cut Kennebec fries.
Ricky’s opened its doors in Vancouver in 1962 as Ricky’s Pancake House, famous for buttermilk pancakes, value breakfast specials, and the very best service. Ricky’s expanded in the 1980s to include full lunch and dinner.
Today, Ricky’s is a leader in the mid-scale family-style dining category. The community-minded chain appeals to customers of all ages with an expansive all-day menu that draws its inspiration from the four corners of the globe. Ricky’s management team looks after more than 85 restaurants in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Yukon, and with 5 new Ricky’s slated to open over the next 9 months, it continues to satisfy its guest base in new communities.
