A society that struggles to see “different” as beautiful
“I think that we have all heard the phrase ‘beauty is within the eye of the beholder,’ yet how many of us actually believe that? The reality is that we live in a society that struggles to see ‘different’ as beautiful,” Jessica said in a blog article on Huffington Post Impact Canada.
“One of the biggest things I hope to accomplish as an ambassador,” Jessica added, “is to serve as somebody whom women and girls, with or without disability, can look up to.
