Purdy's Head Chocolatier and Global TV's Steve Darling visit Coquitam Centre this Saturday

January 30, 2012 - February 4, 2012

Global TV's news anchor Steve Darling and Purdy's Head Chocolatier Gary Mitchell will be at the Purdy's store at Coquitlam Centre this

Saturday, February 4th at 3:30pm

to benefit Variety-The Children's Charity Telethon with Purdy's "Helping Hearts" program.

The first day of sales from all of B.C's Purdy's stores selling "Helping Hands" chocolates raised $1882 benefitting Variety.  Steve and Gary's visit to Coquitlam Centre this Saturday will be a huge help to selling the $8.95 boxes of Helping Hands chocolates with $2 from each sale going to Variety.

"We are very proud to be part of this program to support Purdy's Chocolates and Variety", says Deborah Stetz, Director of Marketing at Coquitlam Centre.  "Great retailers do great things for their community and with the addition of a well-loved TV personality like Steve Darling, it can't help be a big success for Variety children."
