Spring into it

As the April showers are finally comes to a close, May is just around the corner with plenty of exciting new fashion trends. Here are some of the top 5 must-haves of the season.
With Tangerine Tango voted as Pantone's 2012 Colour of the Year, I was extremely excited to hear that Sephora had teamed up with Pantone to create a six-piece set in tangerine-inspired hues. The tangerine hue acts as a warm flush for your cheeks and gives a radiant pop of colour to your eyes and lips, making it the perfect colour for this season. This Colour of the Year Collectors Edition Set speaks for itself as a collectors item and comes to $68 only from a $118 value, at Sephora.
Another must-have of the season is the denim vest. Wearable as a light jacket for dresses and tank tops during summer, and even over-top sweaters for a cute layered look during the chillier days, the denim vest comes as a great wardrobe staple. Swing by Old Navy and check out their Raw-Edged Denim Vest, for only $29.94.
Lace and textured shirts have been a big hit this year, so it's no surprise that these crocheted lace tanks are being quickly spotted in many different retail stores. This shirt is great to wear to the beach as a light layer and to add some texture. Check out American Eagle for their Crocheted Lace Tank, for $38.84.
This season, prints are also making a huge hit on everything from shorts to dresses. These cute exotic print, loose-fitting high waisted shorts ($35.89) from American Eagle are perfect for this season and look great when paired with denim, adding a pop of colour to your outfit. Also, check out The Bay's Material Girl sleeveless tribal print knot cutout maxi dress. With not only the eye-drawing tribal print, the side cutouts and the front knot gives this maxi dress a little bit of everything from this season's most popular trends.
