The Grohmann #2 Trout & Bird knife is a smaller version of the #1 Award Model. Designed for dressing of small game, fishing, backpacking. Lightweight, general purpose knife especially suited for the younger outdoors person, those with smaller hands or if you prefer a smaller handle. This model features a stainless steel blade with a regular grind and a resinwood handle. Regular "sabre" grind blade comes up about halfway on the blade. Our regular classic grind makes for a thicker, stronger blade, and was designed ideally for hunting and skinning/dressing. The eye-catching xtra resinwood handles are made from layers of natural hardwoods impregnated with resin.
