The rectangular blade shape is also optimal for transferring what you've just sliced to a frying pan or wok. Crafted to exactly the same standards as its sister line, the Shun Classic Blonde knives feature gorgeous Damascus clad blades of layered stainless steel around a proprietary VG-MAX cutting core, offering maximum cutting performance, strength, corrosion resistance, and of course a razor-sharp 16° edge. These handcrafted knife are design with a full composite tang so each Classic remains lightweight, yet perfectly balanced.
