Will & Grace: Season One in Coquitlam, BC

"Will & Grace" was an out-of-the-closet comedy right from the start in 1998. Evident from the start is Eric McCormack's casual charm as Will, a gay New York lawyer who is made for his best friend, Grace (Debra Messing), in every way but one. With her wild mane, quick tongue, and knack for physical comedy, Messing was born to play Grace, a successful interior designer whose personal life is, well, a mess. But even without the romantic entanglements introduced in later seasons, "Will & Grace" shines. This is due in no small part to the stars' sidekicks: the ultra-swishy Jack (Sean Hayes) and the ultra-snippy Karen (Megan Mullaly). There's also a marvelous guest-star turn by Debbie Reynolds as "The Unsinkable Mommy Adler", a former showgirl who lives to upstage her daughter Grace.
