This handy tool threads PTFE in either 16g or 14g. Each side threads a different size. This allows you to thread both sizes of PTFE! The 16g-14g Threading Tool creates threading for body jewelry that doesn’t have it already or reinforces the existing threading. It’s perfect for making custom-fit 16g and/or 14g Bio-Plast and Lucite jewelry. Just feed the PTFE or Lucite into the hole at the end of the tool and "screw" it in. When you unscrew it, the PTFE or Lucite will have threading. For example, if you purchase a and need to trim the PTFE post down to fit you better, you can give the Bio-Plast a little snip with clean scissors and re-thread it to be the perfect fit.
