Minimal design meets maximum function, the CRKT Pilar (5311) has a carefully crafted design and backstory. Designed by Jesper Voxnaes, an award-winning Danish trailblazer in knife design, the Pilar was named after Ernest Hemingway’s beloved boat, used for renegade surveillance of German U-boats during WWII. Designed to be a companion to the world-famous author and WWI combat vert, the Pilar will help you get through the day or out of a tough situation. The Pilar features a unique cleaver-shaped blade with a satin finish and flat grind. The strong and fine tip is excellent for detailed tasks, and opens with the thumb slot for a manual opening, locking out with a frame lock. At only 2.4”, the Pilar’s blade is understated, but more than packs a punch when you need it to. Position the pocket clip for tip-up or tip-down carry, or carry it by lanyard. The Pilar takes minimalist design to the next level.
