5-hour timer. Built-in shut-off timer extends battery life. Real wax and Flickering LED lights. Each LED candle uses 2AA 1.5V batteries (not included). FOR INITIAL USE: 1. Remove the candle from the packaging. 2. Insert 2 AA batteries into battery compartment at bottom of candle. - Timer mode: Switch to "TIMER" at desired time for candle to stay on for a continuous 5-hour period, 19 hours off; cycle repeats daily. - To reset timer: Switch to “OFF” and then back to “TIMER” at the new desired time. - To cancel timer: Switch to “OFF” position and switch to “ON” for continuous flicker.
