Opinel No9 is the first of the Opinel's "large" knives featuring a 3.5" blade. This knife features the Virobloc Safety ring which is a simple yet effective locking system. Made in France since 1890.

Carbon steel has a low resistance to corrosion caused by moisture, which means that certain precautionary measures are necessary when using and storing a carbon knives: we recommend that you avoid damp environments and that you dry the blade after each use. Damage caused by corrosion is not covered by warranty.
