The yellow and rose gold options are PVD titanium. PVD is more durable and therefore longer lasting than traditional plating. However, this plating may irritate metal allergies. 316LVM surgical steel is hypoallergenic because it is low carbon vacuum melted. This process sucks out the nickel from the metal. Nickel is one of the most common causes of metal allergies. Please note: this process cannot remove all the nickel and a very small amount of people have reactions to 316LVM surgical steel. The charm is a metal alloy, which is ideal for casting, which makes them perfect for jewelry with fine details. Many people have sensitivities to these alloys and may react. Metal Alloys with a PVD coating can help negate this reaction, but they may still irritate those with the strongest sensitivities.  To avoid turning green, it is recommended that metal alloy jewelry be cleaned often and not worn in moist/sweaty places.
