We recommend our anodized, blackline, or untreated titanium body jewelry if this is a concern for you. Otherwise, 316LVM surgical steel is excellent for people with metal allergies. Gold, and rose gold-tone options are Physical Vapour Deposition (PVD) titanium. PVD's more durable and therefore lasts longer than traditional plating. Yellow and rose gold coatings may cause reactions. Metal alloys are ideal for casting, which makes them perfect for jewelry with fine details. Many people have sensitivities to these alloys and may react. Metal Alloys with a PVD coating can help negate this reaction, but they may still irritate those with the strongest sensitivities.
