Luckily, the Beta Pant is here to keep you dry when you need it. The breathable, waterproof fabric allows vapor from your body to escape without letting water in. Plus, ¾-length side zips provide extra ventilation and make it easy to layer up in an unexpected storm. What's been updated: Updated with a PFAS-free GORE-TEX ePE laminate for a lower footprint. A new low-profile bonded stretch waistband with lower profile internal waist drawcord, single thigh pocket, and ¾-length side zipper deliver improved comfort and freedom of movement. An updated lower-profile hem reinforcement gives enhanced durability. This product is free of intentionally added PFAS. The new ePE membrane technology is lighter and thinner, but just as strong and durable as the materials we used before.   You may notice the face fabric “wetting out” slightly faster in products with ePE membranes, but rest assured this does not affect the waterproofing of the membrane itself. If you notice the fabric wetting out faster than you’d like, simply wash the jacket and dry it to remove the oil contamination and bring the DWR back to its full power.
