Technical GORE-TEX approach shoe balancing stability and grip with a light, fast design.The Vertex Alpine GTX is a complete rethinking of the approach shoe. Balancing the fit and performance of a trail running shoe with the stability required for long days on technical terrain, it’s light, fast, waterproof and combines support and protection with a secure, comfortable ride. A full GORE-TEX liner seals out wet and snow, and the sticky Vibram XS Flash 2 outsole is designed for edging, on-trail performance, and grip in wet and dry conditions. A TPU shank and toe cap add protection, and a knit collar seals out debris.
What's been updated: Updated with a PFCec-Free DWR (Durable Water Repellent) treatment.
